Who I
Work With.
I work with parents who deeply love their children but sometimes find themselves doing or saying things they swore they would never repeat.
Many are quietly afraid they're becoming the parent they grew up with, even if things on the surface look mostly fine.
Internally, they carry guilt and shame after moments where they didn't show up as the parent they want to be.
You've tried more strategies, more tools, more frameworks. But the pattern still activates under stress.
That's not a willpower problem. That's an interference pattern problem. And that's exactly what I help resolve.
What's Actually
Happening.
The Reactive State
In moments of pressure, something shifts. Instead of choosing your response, you feel taken over by a reactive state that feels familiar but unwanted. Like an older version of yourself is suddenly running the system.
The Interference Pattern
This isn't a behavioral problem or lack of insight. It's a state-based pattern where past experiences and emotional learning temporarily override your present-day intention and choice.
Why Strategies Don't Stick
Most people try to solve this by adding more strategies: communication tools, self-regulation techniques, parenting frameworks. But when the underlying pattern is still active, those tools don't consistently hold under pressure.
How My Work Is
Different.
Traditional Approach
Talk through the problems endlessly. Process your feelings. Build awareness. Hope that over time, through repetition, new patterns develop.
Timeline: Months to years.

My Approach
Identify the interference pattern quickly. Use evidence-based experiential methods to help your brain update and integrate past experiences. Let natural, authentic change emerge.
Timeline: 1–5 sessions for meaningful shifts.
Why I Do This
Work.
I'm the youngest of 12 children. Growing up in a family that large taught me early that family dynamics are complicated. Everyone's doing their best, but best doesn't always translate into calm or connected.
As a man of faith, a husband, a father of three, and an uncle to many, I've lived this reality. I've felt the frustration when my kids test boundaries. I've experienced the guilt after snapping. I've watched family patterns repeat across generations.
I've wanted to parent differently than I was parented. And I've struggled with actually doing it.
That's why I became a therapist.
I wanted to understand why parents react the way we do. I wanted to know if change was possible, or if we're just destined to repeat what was done to us.
When I discovered Accelerated Resolution Therapy, I found the answer: real, measurable change is possible. And it doesn't have to take years.
In 10+ years of clinical work, I've learned this: The parents who change fastest are the ones who understand what's happening in their nervous system. Once they see the interference pattern, they can interrupt it. And once it's interrupted, everything shifts.
That's the work I do. That's why I'm here.
Ready to Stop Carrying the Past
Into Your Parenting?
The shift starts with one conversation. No judgment. Just clarity on what's actually happening and whether we're a fit to work together.
